Sweet Spectre is my old wordpress blog brought to Tumblr dedicated to writing, inspiration, and my creative process and struggle to do what I love most.
I'm working on two books, a novel and a horror collection of short stories. Because of this, my current focus is horror, be it film, tv, literature, comics, manga, etc.
Please note: I am also temporarily using it for my Survey of Popular Culture English elective course for college.
I draw a lot of my inspiration from Chuck Palahniuk, Neil Gaiman, Junji Ito, Junko Mizuno, Haruki Murakami, horror survival video games, horror movies, dark fiction, Silent Hill, Lovecraftian horror, books on the history of demonology and witchcraft, books on ghost stories, haunted histories, "documentaries" on demonic possession, and anything else that creeps me out and catches my eye.
